A custom domain or subdomain is a unique, branded website address. The domain name will appear in the address bar of each web page under that domain. It identifies those pages as part of the same site.
For example, our custom domain name is bitly.com. The address for each page on our site starts with www.bitly.com.
A custom domain is more than a web address. It tells your audience who you are and what you have to offer.
If you do not want to use default domain https://shopifystore.jaka.app for the landing page, you can change it to your store domain in the Jaka app.
In the Jaka app, click Settings > Branding > Store domain
Enter the custom domain you want to use. E.g affiliate.yourstore.com and click Save
But it is not enough. Go to your DNS Settings and create a new CNAME record. Here is for your reference: https://www.dynu.com/Resources/Tutorials/DynamicDNS/CreateCNAMERecord
You need to set up an additional Cname in your domain settings to point the domain to the URL of the app. For example:
Type : CNAME
Host name: affiliate
Points to : jaka.app
So the new domain is active. You can use this tool https://mxtoolbox.com/CNAMELookup.aspx to confirm whether the setup was successful or not (picture) when the result is jaka.app in the check box.
After that, please contact the support team Jaka app (at hi@tipo.io) or open chatbox in the app to let the technical team help you set up further and activate the custom domain.
